Anatoly Kalinin, Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration, met with Nuriddin Mamazhonov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus
The parties discussed joint efforts to foster industrial cooperation between Belarusian and Uzbek manufacturers. Particular attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming Uzbekistan-Belarus Inter-Parliamentary Forum, scheduled for September 29–30, 2026, in the city of Khiva, Republic of Uzbekistan, where issues regarding industrial cooperation between the two countries will be examined in detail. The leadership of the FEZ Minsk Administration is set to participate in the Forum's events.
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, a presentation was given highlighting the investment potential of FEZ Minsk, the high-tech products of its resident companies, and prospects for the territorial development of FEZ. The parties agreed to hold a series of videoconferences involving resident companies from both sides to discuss cooperation projects.
Anatoly Kalinin invited Uzbek businesses to actively utilize the FEZ Minsk platform to advance joint projects, noting: "Cooperation within the framework of free economic zones—with their preferential regimes and incentives—offers an excellent starting point for launching joint innovative industrial production facilities."
