Today, the First Vice-President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Jurgen Rigterink visited the territory of the free economic zone "Minsk" in Fanipol.
During the informal meeting with the Chairman of the FEZ “Minsk” administration Dmitry Rudchenko, Mr. Rigterink agreed that the development of energy infrastructure is extremely important for the further development of FEZ "Minsk" territory and attraction of foreign investors, and expressed the assurance that the Bank, given the importance of this issue, in the short term will make the final decision on financing the construction of infrastructure in FEZ "Minsk".
Jurgen Rigterink plans to visit the FEZ “Minsk” resident enterprise "Stadler-Minsk", which is located on one of the land plots of the FEZ territory in Fanipol.
Yesterday, the First Vice President also visited the FEZ “Minsk” resident ADANI company - a world developer and manufacturer of x-ray equipment, systems for inspecting people, luggage, cargo and vehicles.
Currently, 10 resident companies of FEZ "Minsk" implement their investment projects on the FEZ "Minsk" territory near the city of Fanipol, 3 more companies undergo the procedure of agreeing the location of future production.
In total, more than 50 investment sites (sized from 1.2 to 11.2 hectares) with a total area of about 190 hectares in Fanipol are offered for companies to organize new high-tech productions.
